This is not my job...

The Webmaster is also the Website designer for LTCPlays.com. The Webmaster does not get paid for either role. Since, by definition, a professional gets paid, this is arguably yet another unprofessional site by the Webmaster. (He's up to two community theatre sites now, and receives the same compensation...a warm feelling deep in his heart, cramped fingers...and sometimes his head hurts trying to understand why the software isn't behaving as intended).

Tell me your troubles...

However, despite its unprofessional origins, the site does not need to look unprofessional, nor function in an unprofessional manner. To this end, if you discover any problems with the site (e.g., non-working links, links to unintended locations, documents that won't download, typos, etc.), please contact the Webmaster. When contacting the Webmaster regarding a website related issue, please provide specific details about the problem, including:

  1. Provide a reference to the LTC website and a brief description of the problem in the subject header of your e-mail. For example: "LTC website - Link to Kids Camp Registration Form does not work".
  2. The title of the page (typically the large white text in the banner, near the top of the page) where the problem is occurring. For example, the title of the page you are currently viewing is "Contacting the Webmaster."
  3. The link to the page where you are experiencing the problem (just cut and past from your URL / address box near the top of your web browser window). For example, the link to the page you are currently viewing is: "www.ltcplays/pages/webmaster.html"
  4. What actions you took. For example: "I clicked on the 'click here for Kids Camp Form' and got the error message 'document is not accessible'."
  5. What web browser and version you are using. For example, in Internet Explorer, you can click the "Help" menu and then "About", to identify the version you are running.
  6. Whether you've tried to fix the problem by following the solutions provided on the FAQ's for website page.
  7. Any other information that would make things easier for the Webmaster to quickly determine what the problem is.
  8. At least one nice comment about the website. (Not necessary, but will put the Webmaster in better spirits to fix the problem.)

Other distractions...

As noted above, the Webmaster does not get paid for this work, and therefore has to hold down a day job to pay for the computer equipment, software, shelter to house aforementioned, and electricity to run the aforementioned. In addition, the Webmaster entered into a covenant of marriage several years ago that has resulted in offspring; and is therefore expected to spend time with these individuals. The Webmaster is also easily distracted by shiny objects. Consequently, it may take several days, sometimes a week, for the Webmaster to follow-up on your issue.

Before you contact the Webmaster...

Please be sure you've checked our FAQ's for website page to see if your particular issue with the website has not already been discussed. If you don't see your issue addressed there, or if it is addressed but still isn't resolved after trying the recommended solution(s), then please, do not hesitate to notify the Webmaster.

Contacting the Webmaster

Well, since you've made it this far down the page, you must really want to contact the Webmaster. Your persistance is impressive, and is hereby rewarded: click Webmaster@LTCplays.com

Don't forget to provide a brief description of the problem as well as reference "LTC Website" in the subject header of your e-mail.
